About Me
My name is Andrik Powell and I am a visual web designer from Austin, TX, with over 10 years of experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, After Effects, etc). During my employment with Lunarpages Internet Solutions, I developed skills in CSS and HTML by creating websites for dozens of clients. At the app platform and software company Phunware, I helped manage the company website and designed branded print and digital collateral. In 2016, I was part of a team that undertook the complete re-branding of the company website and had to completely re-design every page to fit in with the new style. I currently am the sole website developer of the Phunware company website.
I graduated from Texas State University with a bachelors in Digital Media Innovation in 2020. At Texas State, I consistently made the Dean's List. With every design project, I pushed myself to create a design that no one has done before. I won multiple graphic design competitions in high school (Helena MGen Fest Graphics Competition | First Place/Third Place in Age Division) and I was an assistant for multiple design class teachers.
Away from work, I enjoy my musical endeavors as the vocalist, songwriter and producer under Andrik Arkane. With over 10 years of experience with audio production (released 7 albums under Amplified Church Pow), I employ my creative design and media skills as a professional recording artist.
Starting late 2021, I have been heavily involved in the Doomworld community, designing levels for Doom (1993). I have created over 50 levels, and composed dozens of midis. Every Tuesday and Thursday, I do streams playing custom-made Doom levels critique and testing them. In Early 2022, I took the initiative of becoming project lead of the 128 Lines, 64 Things community project and helped get it to a released state.
