This was a magazine project that required me to design a cover, 2 table of contents pages, 4 department pages, 2 stories that spanned a minimum of 8 pages all coming to a total of 37 pages. Designed and compiled in InDesign. Note that most, if not all, images used in this project are not mine and are subject to copyright.

“Zac Tinney” Profile
For my “Web Design” class, I had to write, interview and create a profile on someone influencial in an organization. This profile was created using bootstrap and includes videos, photo and animated gifs. Advanced usage of Javascript was used to change the background while scrolling and to stop videos from loading on mobile devices.

“Audio Production” Article
In my “Media Writing” class, I was tasked to do a group research project and write an article based on the subject my group was interested in. My group focused on the process from writing a song, getting the song produced, and then finally getting played on the radio. I interviewed two professionals in the field of “Audio Production.” The header graphic of the site was also created by me. Site created in Wordpress.

“AdPicc” Profile
For my “Digital Media Innovation Capstone” class, I had to write up an innovative idea profile on a new digital product. My idea was of a customizable ad platform that would pay users to use it, while also getting paid by advertisers to advertise on the platform. For my final, I was tasked with creating a website under the Wordpress CMS, creating assets, and writing up a business plan.

For my “Media Design” class, I was required to reach out to an organization and write a 4-page newsletter while also compiling my own images. Design created and compiled in InDesign.

“How to Write a Song (With Andrik Powell)” Social Media Video
In my “Advanced Social Media” class, I was tasked with creating a short video that could show up on social media. The video had to be 0:30-1:30 and had to fit into the constrants for the social media platform it was on. I decided to do an instagram-like square video that was meant to mimic recipe videos but for how to write a song. Video created with iMovie and After Effects.

Texas State “Mass Comm Week” app prototype
For my “Media Design” class, I had to created an app prototype for an app that related to Texas State's “Mass Comm Week.” I chose to create an app that could allow live chats for each of the Mass Communication majors, allow users to create a schedule of events they are interested in, allow users to look up event and speaker details. Created in Adobe XD.

“VayK VR” Group Research Project
For my “Digital Media Innovation Capstone” class, I had to work with a group on the idea profile of VayK VR, a hotel 360-virtual tour app. Each of us in the group had to research and write about our dedicated sections. The sections I researched and wrote about were "Potential Solutions" and "Competitors." I created the VayK VR logo in Adobe Illustrator.
